Well the new Harry Potter book is pretty gppd, although I don’t think anything could have lived up to the massive amount of hype surrounding it. It was a good read with some interesting developments, but really no plot, just plot devices.
The kids are at each others’ throats every single minute they are in the same room. Jo managed to line up some toys in this order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. She did it on her own without ever knowing about Roy G. Biv. Caroline started singing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” during the Aragog scene in Chamber of Secrets.
In all, I really don’t have much to say, but I feel guilty when there are too many blank days.

I finished Harry yesterday and it was a good read. I really loved being back at Hogwart’s so to speak.
At the end of the book, Harry has the mirror that Sirius gave him. Why didn’t he use that instead of trying to use Umbridge’s fire? Obviously, it slipped his mind. However, why didn’t Harry go ahead and agonize about his choice to use the fire instead of the mirror? I mean, he was agonizing about everything else. It seemed odd to me.
