I bought it

I bought the Prius. Should be delivered sometime this week. I’m giddy. First thing I’ll have to do is tint the windows, after I’m done playing.

    Nice call on the Prius. What do those things get? 47 MPG?

    I hear you about the $50 fillups, too. I have a Land Rover Disco II that gets 12 MPG and requires Premium Unleaded (currently at $2.35/gallon). Gotta love those $60 fillups.

    I won’t be getting rid of the Rover…’cause I have three big dogs that I haul around all the time…plus, I use my Rover for it’s off-road intended purposes quite frequently. But I need something else for the daily 11-mile commute to work (each way).

    We’re thinking of going with ta Mini Cooper or a Prius. If we go with the Prius, our’s would be the 2nd in Austin with a W sticker in it .

    Thanks, y’all! We just hit the 100 mile mark on the odometer and are getting 45.6 MPG. It’s supposed to get even higher once the break-in period (from 5000-10,000 miles, depending on who you talk to) is over. I saw 2 other Priuses (Prii?) when we were out tonight.

    The Minis are cute but small and pricey!
