I work in admissions and letters like that cross my desk from time to time...I personally admire the ones that lay out a good plan for the future and explains what the education means to them (ie - better employment, personal enrichment, example to children, finishing something that had been started a while back...whatever). The value of an education looks a lot different when you're an adult than it did when you're older. Good luck! It’s worth doing…good for you!
