I really enjoyed knitting cables for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/addlepated\/3113386859\/in\/set-72157610976276532\/\">WWII Watch Cap<\/a> I made a while back, and this fall&#8217;s issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/knitty.com\/ISSUEdf10\/PATTlia.php\">Knitty<\/a> came up with the pattern that spoke to me.  So I purchased the yarn &#8211; Malabrigo Chunky in Burgundy &#8211; and set off to work.  <\/p>\n<p>The yarn was a royal pain to wind but very nice to work with and wear.
