Singapore, Sweden, the UK, 4 time zones in the US.  I am just amazed.  And a little humbled, to tell the truth.  Does this mean I have to write things that <i>mean<\/i> something, now, because I have a world-wide audience?  Should I wax profound on the meaning of life, world peace, the cure for the common cold?  100 years ago, people who wrote every day for a living had dreams of reaching such an audience.  Now any prat with a computer can babble and reach thousands.<\/p>\n<p>Should I rail against the injustices such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/printedition\/california\/la-000032387may07.story?coll=la%2Dheadlines%2Dpe%2Dcalifornia\">this<\/a>?  Should I dedicate my life to helping people <a href=\"http:\/\/www.headshaver.org\/\">who desperately want to shave their heads but can&#8217;t figure out how<\/a>?  <\/p>\n<p>Shyeah, right.  I&#8217;d rather <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csh.rit.edu\/~wxs\/images\/humor\/midgettossing.swf\">toss dwarves<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is mindboggling to me that in the past week I have had people from all around the world look at this web page.
