My health insurance company took 16 days to process a payment, during which time it became overdue, so they canceled my insurance. In the meantime I had sent yet another payment, which they also sat on. This all happened a month ago. The only reason I found out about it was because I went to the pharmacy and they said I wasn’t covered. So now I’m supposed to mail them a cashier’s check or money order for the amount due, plus fax them a letter asking to be reinstated. This, while it was their fault for sitting on the damned payment. Not to mention I haven’t gotten my damned checks back from them, so I’m out four figures and they want me to send more.<\/p>\n
I was informed of this at 5:00 this afternoon, too late to go to the bank and get a money order to overnight to them.
