{"id":867,"date":"2005-04-06T00:54:14","date_gmt":"2005-04-05T19:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/addlepated.net\/blog\/archives\/867"},"modified":"2005-04-06T00:54:14","modified_gmt":"2005-04-05T19:54:14","slug":"pics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/addlepated.net\/blog\/archives\/867","title":{"rendered":"Pics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recent pics of the girls are in <a href=\"http:\/\/gallery.addlepated.net\/Addies-Kids\">the gallery<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>Dinner tonight was Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic, courtesy of Alton Brown&#8217;s recipe.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/gallery.addlepated.net\/albums\/Food\/DSCN3863.sized.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><i>1 whole chicken (broiler\/fryer) cut into 8 pieces<br \/>\n1\/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\n10 sprigs fresh thyme<br \/>\n40 peeled cloves garlic<br \/>\nSalt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.<\/p>\n<p>Season chicken with salt and pepper. Toss with a 2 tablespoons olive oil and brown on both sides in a wide fry pan or skillet over high heat. Remove from heat, add oil, thyme, and garlic cloves. Cover and bake for 1 1\/2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Remove chicken from the oven, let rest for 5 to 10 minutes, carve, and serve.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recent pics of the girls are in the gallery.
