Lookie, I finished the king-sized quilt top that I’m making for class. I still have to put on the borders, and then quilt the whole thing. If I wasn’t certifiable before I started this project, I will be afterward.
A thousand thanks to that certain blogger who sent me the Trainspotting CD from my wishlist. It totally and completely made my day!

Gorgeous quilt. Mesmerizing pattern.
This obviously takes a good deal of talent and time. Have you ever sold your quilts, or made them on commission?

Oh good heavens no. Thank you for the complement, but I am a raw newbie when it comes to quilting. You should see some of the quilts people are making. I’m utterly humbled by them. Check out the winners at this year’s Austin quilt show for example. Amazing.
Besides, the crib quilt that I just finished took me months to do. I’d starve if I ever tried to make money off of quilting. And the buyers would get really cold waiting!
