   I vote no. I joined a few months ago (to get the free coffeemaker, of course). I diligently consumed all the coffee they sent, and I hated it. Compared to what I grind locally (usually at Central Market but even regular HEB) it was flat, bitter, and stale tasting. (I bought pre-ground, though I sometimes buy whole beans. Maybe Gevalia’s whole beans are fresher?) I like strong coffee, though. Anyhow, I returned to local stuff.

   Hmmm, that’s good to know. There’s a coffe store not too far from me that I may try, or I may still go with Gevalia since there’s no contract. I’d get whole beans, which like you say may be better.

   If you like flavored coffee, the Papa Nicholas French vanilla brand is yum.

   gevalia is one of the few brands d. will drink when they’re out of his regular espresso… he likes el pico or cafe bustelo best, and will drink caramba or gevalia if he has nothing else.

   Gaveilia is no good
