Done, done, done. I am done with school. Had my last exam as an undergraduate tonight. I’m 99 44/100% certain I have a 4.0 GPA at St. Edward’s.

I’ve been away from regular net access for a few days, so it’s taken me a while to have a moment to post this here. Some of you might know that Dave Szulborski is ill. It’s serious. He could definitely use some well wishes, prayers, and spirit lifting. If you have a free moment, please make him a crane, or email me with your wish and I’ll make one for you.
If it weren’t for Dave, I wouldn’t be in the position I am now, able to get paid to do that which I love: making ARGs. He loves to take new, enthusiastic converts to the ARG world and put them to work behind the scenes on a game. He asked me back in 2004 if I would be interested in working on a grassroots game called Dread House (a.k.a Urban Hunt), and the rest is history. He also wrote a letter of recommendation for me when I returned to college. He’s not only a pioneer in the world of alternate reality games, but he’s one of the sweetest, gentlest, kindest, funniest, and diabolically brilliant people to walk the face of the earth. If I sound like I’m fiercely devoted to him, it’s because I am. He’s been through a LOT in the last several years and deserves to have some peace and happiness with his new wife and beautiful baby boy.
God bless you, Dave, and bring you health.
Your first instinct may be to giggle, but watch long enough and realize that the singers totally change the context of the song, employing irony, humor, and perspective to make the familiar unfamiliar and make the audience thoughtful.
Forget the Red Hat Club. These guys have it going ON.
I was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, the adult honor society, last weekend. Tonight I got an email congratulating me on being elected a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the communication honor society. I know that a faculty member had to have pulled some strings on my behalf since normally students from New College aren’t asked to be members of LPH.
Things left to do before I graduate:
– Put together my presentation for the school conference
– Revise my thesis (not really needed since I have an A on it already)
– Write a reflective summary for my Capstone course
– Put together my Capstone presentation
– One more short film review
– One more test
Oh, and there’s ironing my gown and figuring out how to wear a hood and honor cords. I asked my prof whether it’s bad form to wear more than one set of cords at graduation. She said “The gaudier the better.”
Invitations went out today. Note that they are NOT me secretly asking for presents. They’re just FYIs.
Thanks to everyone who’s contacted me. At the moment, the situation appears to have cleared up. We’ll see how many other mailing lists I was subscribed to (although I must give PETA props for being really friendly and helpful – thanks, guys).

Your quest to ruin Sid Mournings life has came to my attention. Have you ever wondered if he has children? Have you ever wondered if you are hurting his daughter? Well we are here to ruin your life regardless if he has children or not. We know where you work, we know where you live, we know your telephone number, we know that you have two girls, did I forget to mention last night around 9:30 we were parked outside of your house? If you don’t stop your wrongful slander we will do the same to you.
