Sparkly
Here’s about 1/4 of the total stone. There’s something fundamentally satisfying about passing these things. It’s almost like popping a zit or something.

Lithouch
I had the lithotripsy done this afternoon and my right abdomen looks like I’ve been flogged. I was too out of it to talk to the doctor afterwards, but he put on my chart that “fragmentation was noted,” so I’m hoping that’s that. In the meantime, I’m going to curl up in bed for a while.
Tired of being stoned
I went to see the doc for a followup to my kidney stone problem. The second stone hasn’t budged. It’s still in the exact same place it was in on July 10. So, I’m scheduled for a lithotripsy on the 14th, and, predictably, am freaked out about it.
Blah.
Awful joke
A young woman goes to the gynecologist for the very first time. It’s obvious that she is very nervous and the Doctor notices it right away. “You seem worried, Ma’am, would it help if I numbed you?”
“Why yes, yes it would. That’s a great idea.” she replied.
So the doctor grabbed her knees and started going “Num, num, num, num, num.”
Clever advertising
McDonalds has put up a really cool sundial billboard.
A rolling stone gathers no moss
How can I go for 36 years with no kidney stones, then deal with two within 3 weeks?
I just had an IVP and stone number two is currently descending. Luckily my professor is being very understanding and allowed me to turn my assignment in via email. Maybe this time I will manage to catch the damned thing… still no idea what happened to the first one. Poof, it was gone.
This sucks.
