The East Bay Express ran a wordy article yesterday basically accusing Yelp.com of being a technological Mafia, running a protection racket for businesses who agreed to advertise with them and highlighting negative reviews for businesses who turned down the advertising offers.
Yelp’s rather terse retort basically says, “No way, you guys, advertisers still have negative reviews, and besides, your sources suck.”
Not exactly compelling.

There are nearly 30 straight minutes of four letter words spliced together into one seamless video. After a while it just sounds like a bunch of hoarse chickens. Plus, you can watch James Gandolfini lose his hair and gain his gut. He’s still cute, though.
