I told someone earlier that I felt like I was at a bedside vigil with a very sick friend, watching all the New Orleans coverage. Y’all stay safe, and I’m praying for you.

After boasting to a friend the other day that I’ve never had any weird experiences while in New Orleans, last night at dinner someone tapped me in the back. And I was sitting up against the wall. Zoinks.

We’re off to New Orleans this weekend to celebrate our birthdays and our wedding anniversary. Anyone have a favorite place that we just shouldn’t miss while there? I’m particularly considering a swamp tour since I’ve never done one in that area. We did in Costa Rica and I really enjoyed it.
