Fresh, Hot Wastes of Time

M. and D. left a little while ago with their brood. We had a really nice time visiting with them but oh. my. gosh. I am so exhausted.

Today was such a miserable day outside that I wanted to curl up in bed with a nice book and just spend all day not moving. I did take a nap with the 2 year old, which would have been funner if she were at all cuddly.

I think I’m going to play Neverwinter Nights until the kids go to bed, then crash hard.

I’m stuffed.

M. and D. came to spend the night with their kids, and we cooked fajitas and hot fudge pudding cake. The kids had a great time romping all over the house and watching Wizard of Oz, and much merriment was had by all except for the 9 month old who crawled up on the couch while nobody was watching and then launched herself off. Now she has yet another bruise on her forehead.
