You know, I haven’t searched for fun links or played Neverwinter Nights all damn day long because I’ve been working on this damn blog.
But I’m not bitter.

Well it’s done. I think. I’ve tinkered with the blog all day long, migrating it to MT from Blogger. All that’s really left is to import the old comments and see if I can get the drop-down archive list to work again.
If you run into something that looks wrong or have any suggestions, please leave me a comment.
this is a test of the emergency weenie system. OK, I’ve imported into Moveable Type, now I have to:
€ get comments working
€ get permalinks working
€ get archives working
€ clean up extraneous code and links
For now if you feel compelled to comment on something, the Shoutbox over on the right bar should be working. If not, email me.
Adventure, you remember – for the Atari 2600.
I’m diddling with MT right now so be prepared for bad craziness.
Winners of the world’s worst bridesmaids’ dresses contest.
If you are coming here from a search engine, please rest assured that I DO NOT HAVE ANY PICTURES OF SELMA HAYEK NUDE. Nor do I have any pictures of men in girdles, hot nude girls, or nude anything, really.
Now that we have that cleared up, I would really appreciate it if you fellow bloggers out there could tell me 1) what blogging interface you use, i.e. Blogger, Moveable Type, Greymatter, etc. and 2) if you can blog from your Palm with it. Leave a note in the comments, pretty please!
And don’t forget to put your info in the guestmap.
I’m getting a little fed up with YACCS because they seem to be slow or completely down a lot of the time. I’m going to look into CGI commenting so that I can run it myself. In the meantime if the comments are down, you can leave a comment on the shoutboard over on the right.
You know, I feel that I should clarify my last post about UNC. It’s not that I have anything against the Quran in particular, but I don’t think that any public school should make a religious text required reading for everyone. If students want to study religion, they can take a religion class. Imagine the furor if they required students to read a Wicca book (tho I’m not sure if there even is a sacred Wicca book). Or the Bible. That’s what I have the problem with, imposing any religious text on everyone.
Remember that coke/soda/pop link I posted a little while ago? Well this guy has noted an eerie resemblance between carbonated beverage terms and who voted for which presidential candidate.
OMG these people are going to hell.
The Janet Reno Dance Patry! No, really.
I prefer to get my news by haiku, thank you.
The University of North Carolina is requiring all incoming freshmen to read the Quran. Oh, I know, it’s ok because it’s only part of the Quran. Wonder if they can read part of my middle finger?
