Not 5 minutes after I told Varin there was no sign of him, the lizard leapt out majestically from behind the television and landed with a royal plop on the DVD for The King and I – a reptilian Yul Brynner. This time I got smart and grabbed a jar to nab him in. I set him in the grass to do his best rendition of “It’s Not Easy Being Green.”
