Are you kidding?

Look, people. Roaman’s is a fat lady catalog. Sizes 12-44. Are there really enough safety pins in the world to deal with the fact that all your damn models are size 2’s?

The average dress size in the United States is 14. If you see a size 14 woman on the street, she looks completely normal.

Kate Winslet was a size 12 after Titanic, and the tabloids called her fat. What is wrong with this picture?

Not that I’m a plus size activist or anything. I’m just a realist.

dude, they have skinny girls mostly in the lane bryant catalog too. it rots.

lilo & stitch had absolutely no skinny people in it. they were all curvy and more realistic. it was cool.

a friend of mine whoi is about a size 14-ish was telling me the other day that some size 2 chick in her office was shocked to find out that sizes came in double digits.

now was this chick monumentally stupid? or a just being a bitch? i vote for just being a bitch.

i like ot imagine how easy it would be for me to break those size two chicks in half if they give me any shit.

ah, you’ve been smoking Michigan’s crack.

y’all, there’s no all-caps on this comments page besides the “posted by” line. are you seeing something else?

Should be fixed now – apparently IE parses the /h3 tag differently on pcs and macs, so I scootched the tag up a little and it seems to look better. Sorry I called everyone a crack smoker. Unless you do in fact smoke crack, in which case I’m not sorry.
