at 6 in the morning when you still haven’t gotten to sleep and you’re trapped watching noggin with an almost-2-year-old who won’t sleep because she has a stomach bug, the temptation to make up alternative and rather rude dialog for creatures like maisy the cute little mouse and miffy the cute little bunny and oobi the cute little hand puppet is simply overwhelming.

dude. maisy and miffy and oobi, although cuter visually than teletubbies, are in the same league. i don’t let e. watch anything where the characters don’t speak normally.
you’re telling me that maisy is supposedly 3-4 years old and yet she lives alone, throws birthday parties, and cooks dinner? whatever. if that’s the case, make her fucking TALK.
i would of course be very interested in your alternate dialogues. 😉

That has to be the funniest statement i have heard in a long time, i totally agree, how the hell is that show supposed to teach our kids when they dont talk and that fucking Charlie character whines like his has down syndrome. Unfortunatly my son loves it, but it drives me up the wall.
