Fresh, Hot Wastes of Time

Picture if you will… a hot late July Texas day. A ranch out on the country. 50 people at a 3 year old’s birthday. And 2 toddlers in the car for 2 hours who haven’t had naps.

You have now entered The Headache Zone.

I think the kids had a good time, but with all those people going in and out, it wasn’t much cooler inside than it was outside. Not to mention that they ran out of anything but beer to drink. Don’t get me wrong, I like beer all right. It’s just that when I’m about to die of dehydration, I like a nice diet Coke or something.

Oddly enough, even though both girls are minus naps, the 2 year old is ok while the 10 month old is a little monster. The baby is beating the crap out of her older sister.
